Shopping for international travel insurance is no easy task. There is simply no easy way to find the right coverage for you or your family without first looking at several options. Naturally, you would want an international travel insurance package that would give you the best and most comprehensive coverage regardless of where in the world you may be.
There are also different kinds that you may choose from - long term travel insurance, short term travel insurance or the group travel insurance. The short term insurance is best for trips which are between five days to a maximum of twelve months. Long term, on the other hand, is ideal for extended periods of stay, such as if you're on a study grant, a research program, or on an extended business stint. True, you may get health insurance from the country that you're staying in, but there is no guarantee how good there health care packages are for foreigners.
Finally, group international travel insurance is of course for group tours, pilgrimages or missionary trips.
