I am big fan of LinkedIn. It is great as it allows professionals to network with other people and businesses - be they a programmer, graphic design agency, artist, marketer, salesperson, whoever. I had been made redundant and was looking for a new job in the financial sector. I decided to list my profile on LinkedIn. Within a couple of days I had made lots of new connections from all over the world. I had been offered a number of job interviews which I was very pleased about. I am pleased to say I have found employment due to this particular networking site. It is great being able to list qualifications and experience. Without the site I probably would have really struggled to find employment. I think LinkedIn is ideal for anyone with tertiary qualifications and lots of experience. I am glad it is a free service otherwise I do not think I would have bothered. I often recommend the site to my friends who have degrees who may want another job. |

The rise of social networks in the last few years is at a level that concerns me. From one perspective, social network pages are connecting the people in a way that no other medium ever had. Communicating through these social networks, is easy, fast and cheap.
However, the ease of use has made the communication all the more shallow. Look at the cheesy facebook banners people make now - practically advertising themselves as brands these days!
Furthermore, networks are almost always abused. Abused in a way that people spend too much time doing nothing. The average teenager in these days spends hours and hours checking statuses, viewing pictures and chatting with random people, without much or any productivity or creation. Also, communicating through these networks isn't the same as communicating face to face. A lot of people lose their skills to communicate in the real world because of over-spending time on such web sites. I think that social networks are a great way for meeting people, and making some appointments, like meeting with a few forgotten classmates. They also allow us to express our thoughts about stuff, so other people can view and debate about them. But people can't control themselves in such a way and often forgot the main purpose of such places, so some of them in a kind of way get addicted. |

Ben could not understand why so many companies were using the services of the seo company that was in their town. The company's services were quite expensive and Ben knew that he could get the same services at a much less price. Actually, the seo package prices of the seo company in his home town were selling at double the price of the seo company he knew in another town. When time came for him to do an online seo promotion, he did not care to look more because he already knew what company to hire. He set all the goals that were required and chose the seo package that was more ideal for his business. Ten years down the line, Ben is yet to get any seo ranking in the search engine that he chose. The reason being that he chose a cheap company which was offering poor quality services just because he wanted cheaper services. If there is a site on the web that is popular on video watching, then it is you tube. Many people post a lot of videos up on youtube and the reason why it has a huge number of followers is the fact that it is free and all you need in order to get an account of your own, then it is an email address which is also very free and easy to obtain. People also make money easily out of ebay, when they upload good quality videos that get watched by a lot of people then other people will want to use them to help them take good videos and put them up too. The first time I tried opening my own account, I kept on having set backs and that is when I asked my sister why cant i create a youtube account and she told me that maybe there is something I missed or did wrongly as I tried to create an account. So together we went through every step and everything was fine but the problem arose when I was creating the user name, I choose one that was taken and that is why the process could not get complete. So together we created another user name and when it was accepted, then my youtube account came up. |

Orleann is one of the many friends I know who left the teaching profession to concentrate on working as a web entrepreneur. He finished a degree in Computer Science and Web Design and right after he graduated the Dean offered him a teaching profession and he was doing well for a year. While working as a college professor he was doing part time jobs as a web entrepreneur. Finding that project very lucrative he decided to do it full time leading him to quit his day job. At the moment Orleann got the most coveted seo promotion, there were over 10 of them who were likely candidates for the position and he has been crossing his fingers that he would get it. So when his boss informed him that he got the job he was ecstatic and in an instant he called up the gang for beer and pizza over at Alberto&rsquos. Elisa was talking to a friend while waiting for their order at Kublai Khan she was busy looking at some items on her pink plastic folder. The pink file folder seems to contain all of her notes for her sideline job. She has been working for a local web marketing company part time as a secretary. She works part time rendering only about 3 hours daily from Mondays through Fridays and sometimes she would extend on Saturdays in the morning. There is actually another secretary who works in the morning and their tasks are carefully divided between the two of them. They had to manage the local seo services that the company is offering and create portfolios for their clients. So while we wait for our food to be served Stacy was busy working on the files on her folder while I was busy checking out if there is an available free wifi signal in the area. Unfortunately I could not find any so I settled to watching Stacy write furiously on a piece of yellow paper. |

When I was still in high school on the year 1998, I started to become attached to the radio. I was used to listening to the different kinds of music and I had the hobby of identifying the artists and their songs. I even collect cassette tapes of my favorite artists. When I get to have the chance during breaks, I listen to my walkman and enjoy the comfort of my favorite songs. As the years go by, there have been constant changes on such gadgets. From walkman to cd player, eventually to mp3 and now recently the ipod. As I observe the changes, I was slowly convincing myself how I grow older each time there are new inventions. When the ipod was introduced to the market, I instantly purchased one to feed up my love for music as well as my ignorance on it. The instruction manual for ipod shuffle is very important, without it, learning how to operate it would be hard. Although it has some same features with mp3, still it is best to have instructions on hand. As the world grows, things on it also grow. There are still a lot to discover on the numerous changes people can offer. As long as there are brilliant minds who keep on inventing different things, the world can offer you much compared to the olden days. |

My fiancée got me and watching YouTube videos and I like a lot of the funny commercials especially the one about Bud light. But why is my youtube video choppy, well there could be a number reasons if you're just watching them because it could be your memory it could be your set up it could even be your operating system not allowing the flash feed from YouTube to play right and it can be your Internet browser also. If you're having problems like I have had what I did is just restarted my computer and started all over again letting it clear my memory especially if I've been using a lot of different programs and once I restarted usually the video clears up. If it doesn't clear up then it could be the video itself or you could try downloading it with a flash downloader to clear it up where you can watch. I really like some of the funny commercials there that I enjoy watching especially the Bud light with the romantic barbecue in the snow with the horse. |
