I will be the first to admit I am not much of a drinker. But when I visit my sister in Lapeer, Michigan, we always spend either Friday or Saturday night at Calvelli's. Calvelli's is a restaurant/bar on Park Street, right in the heart of Lapeer. It is a small building, but very homey and comfortable, even for those who don't feel comfortable going to a bar. I have always felt that it didn't feel like a bar - there are not even placemats here. Everyone is friendly, from the owners on down. The décor also makes the place fun, as it has a 1950's style, with tons of photos from classic movies, hubcaps from 50's cars and the karaoke booth is shaped like the back end of a '57 Thunderbird. My sister is the karaoke hostess, running the karaoke show on Friday and Saturday nights, which runs from 8pm til the 1am closing. Karaoke is very popular when she is there and usually the singing starts right on time and doesn't stop until closing. |

When you decorate a cake, you are technically translating a concept from your mind to something tangible and creative. A lot of people already know how to decorate a cake using their own style. Using these tools, you will be able to create creative and attractive fondant flowers. Just make sure to practice making these flowers for many times before actually putting them in a real cake that you are making.
